In 2024, we introduced our first 'Masterchef' competition for our kitchen teams from across the business.
Open to all kitchen team members, our entrants developed their own dishes and menus to wow the judges with divisional heats taking place before the final where the finalists presented their signature dish to a panel of judges.

Following their hard work, finalists enjoyed a six-course Michelin Star tasting menu and the 2024 winner, Dariusz from The Rule, St Andrews won the first place prize of £2000 in vouchers, a set of Wustof chef knives, and of course, a trophy presented by Tom Aikens.
